The main goal of creating a technology professional development plan is to help teachers gain the skills, strategies, and confidence they need to effectively use technology in the classroom. So instead of just focusing on software training, these plans are used to provide support that helps teachers tackle real classroom challenges and improve student learning. By working together in groups, teachers are able to explore how different technology tools can fit into their curriculum, try out new ideas, and develop better teaching practices.

Being part of a professional development plan is very important for teachers because it gives them an organized way to improve their technology skills while also tying them to what they’re teaching. These plans help teachers overcome challenges by working together and sharing ideas. As expected, there will be challenges along the way, like everyone not being on the same page, not having the resources they need, or dealing with scheduling conflicts. Teachers might also feel overwhelmed with all the other tasks they have to complete. To make these plans work, it’s important to have clear goals, ongoing support, and flexibility to adapt as needed.

Hello again!  This blog will be a little different, though it’s supposed to be a video, my schedule didn’t allow me to match the different prompts, and I’m an out of state student so I didn’t have any younger family members to use. This is a game-based learning platform that turns quizzes into interactive, exciting competitions.   My teaching philosophy is all about putting students at the center while also focusing on their overall growth. With their own strengths, needs, and goals,  I believe every student is unique.  As a teacher, my job is to create a classroom where students feel encourages to be in control of their learning, while also supporting their academic, emotional, social, and physical development. In my classroom, learning will be hands-on and driven by the students. I aim to create lessons that spark creativity, encourage exploration, and get kids working together. I want every student to feel connected to what they’re learning, so I will make sure to have lessons that fit their interests and learning styles.
