Lesson plans are essential tools for effective teaching and learning. They help both teachers and students stay on task and focused, creating a productive and organized classroom environment. For this lesson plan, I created an interactive math activity using the ABCya app to support hands-on, project-based learning. My focus was on helping students practice their multiplication in a fun way that caters to their individual learning levels. By using this, I was able to create the opportunity for customized instruction, this allows each student to work at their own pace while receiving immediate feedback on what needs to improve.

A great way to tackle classroom challenges like different skill levels and keeping students engaged is by using hands-on, project-based learning. Using ABCya, I am able to make my ideas more fun and easier to understand. As kids play the games, it helps build critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Using this approach not only address different challenges but it also sparks creativity and teamwork among students.

  My teaching philosophy is all about putting students at the center while also focusing on their overall growth. With their own strengths, needs, and goals,  I believe every student is unique.  As a teacher, my job is to create a classroom where students feel encourages to be in control of their learning, while also supporting their academic, emotional, social, and physical development. In my classroom, learning will be hands-on and driven by the students. I aim to create lessons that spark creativity, encourage exploration, and get kids working together. I want every student to feel connected to what they’re learning, so I will make sure to have lessons that fit their interests and learning styles.
